About
Built by an operator who lived through the handover moment.
Mission
To turn the 2-week notice window into a repeatable, auditable, wizard-guided process.
To make a senior departure a moment of operational continuity, not operational risk.
To prove that knowledge continuity is its own product category — not a feature of an HRIS.
Founder note
I’m Jake Cini. I built and shipped Handoff Wizard’s methodology end-to-end at a real company under a real two-week deadline before writing a line of the SaaS. 1,300 source files, 24 hours from notice to finished knowledge base, 35 of 35 gold questions passed, successor productive on day 1. That’s not a pitch — it’s the build log.
Every senior operator I’ve ever worked with carries 3–10 years of tacit knowledge that nobody has bothered to capture. The departure moment is the one moment that knowledge can actually be extracted — they’re leaving anyway, they’re still around for two weeks, and they have the motivation to leave a clean handoff. We just needed the tool to make that two-week window productive. Now we have one.
If you’ve got a senior departure on your plate — or you’re a PE Operating Partner watching this happen across your portfolio — let’s talk.
